during the research process we discovered some amazing companies and organizations. through our experiences, interviews, and background about each company we aim to provide information for all who are interested. we would like to give thanks to these companies for providing people in need with therapy and their contributions in the animal care field.

ivy hill uses equine-assisted services and therapies for differently-abled individuals in order to help them develop self-sustaining life skills and the confidence to use them. their goal is to to be the recognized standard bearer for professionalism, excellence, advocacy and sportsmanship in equine-assisted activities and therapies.

mewow cafe

they began their journey to be a full-service café. they still serve delectable, locally made desserts, and the  coffee but most of the focus is on the cats. mewow cafe donates the things needed to care for the cat residents. each furry friend lives at the kitty corral, uncaged, until adopted. and they are partnered with the animal rescues for the adoption process.

their volunteer teams promote well-being by sharing the power of human-animal interactions. they believe in treating everyone with compassion in a non-judgmental way to serve their community’s needs. they also act with sincerity in their services to provide a positive relationship and outlook on human-animal interactions.

rose bridge farm and sanctuary 

rose bridge farm sanctuary is a home to many rescued animals. they offer in person bottle feeding and animal snuggle sessions! they are very appreciative of their customers because they give the farm friends a second chance at life and a new purpose.

nor'wester therapy dogs

nor’wester therapy dogs uses registered therapy dogs to enhance the educational environment where children are motivated to work on academic skills.  achievement with students is done through autistic support, life skills, social and emotional support. the therapy dogs also provide support to school district crisis teams in specialized counseling situations.

the philly goat project celebrates the amazing capacities of goats through community, sustainability, and educational opportunities. philly goat project was created to provide opportunities for urban residents to ​connect with ​nature by using goats.
